For publishers in Portland, Oregon

After today's NWABP's meeting today I realized that I'm lacking in the business-card department. I'd had enough thought to give out cards, but the only business cards I had were my Peace Corps Representative cards and since that job's wrapping up soon, I need something new. Click on the card to the left to see a larger version of what I'm thinking of printing. I'm getting price quotes right now. Any thoughts on the card before I get it printed?

I totally agree with you on making it a little more descriptive, I left that off right now because I'm not quite sure what I'm doing after graduation, so wasn't sure what the most important things to list were. I'll give it some thought though. Thanks for the input!

Very clever, Cliff! If I may be so bold, I suggest using lowercase for the url and e-mail address; this would improve readability. Also, consider including a description of what you do (freelance designer, etc.). I attended a seminar on freelance editing last weekend, where we looked at good vs. bad business cards. One point that came out of our discussion is how important it is to include our profession on the card. Otherwise, two months later, how is anyone going to remember who we are and why they have our card?

I like your use of color; the border really makes the card stand out. Also, good use of white space, and lines, to leave room for someone to write on the card.
