Currently, I direct the graduate program in book publishing and Ooligan Press at Portland State. I've been in publishing for 30 years. With my wife Linny, I founded Media Weavers and Blue Heron Publishing, both of which we sold in the 90s.

Titles I've written or published:

I've edited dozens of titles and ghostwritten quite a few. I'm the co-author of "Classroom Publishing: A Practical Guide to Enhancing Student Literacy."

My goals in publishing are:

Helping train a new generation of publishers who care more about literary culture than only literary commerce. I'm also deeply interested in increasing diversity within the industry.
